A select group of well-funded trainers backed by owners supplying top yearlings dominates the market. They've carved out serious control. We can help you find a trainer or start your two-year olds.
Cutting has turned into a High Stakes World: Prospects fetching $1 million+. Yearlings consistently bring high six figures. How do we make smarter decisions in this high-risk venture?
We're operating in a world where the stakes dwarf any Vegas jackpot—and the risks are double. Some call it a "mystery and guess" for such massive investments. "I'd never run my business on hunches," they say, but in cutting, there's no choice. Maybe that's part of the thrill and mystique! But maybe you would like some inside knowledge. Text us to discuss your next prospect or futurity needs.
It's a Big Team my wife and I. Pat just started with the horses when we went to the Texas Hill Country to Manage a Ranch. To say she loves the horses is an understatement. The kindness and joy she gives the horses is amazing. She has been instrumental in our Consumer Credit Company for 20 years and managed it while I did all the fun stuff.
With a build this big it takes a lot of help and thanks to Shaun, Jason, Scotty and Sam we were able to pull it off. Offering shops, tools, equipment and good old man power.
No jigs or precut material are available for over the top custom features, just lots of calculating and time to make all of the feature fit and function.
The team we just lost our Ozzie as you have noticed him in all our pictures and videos. He was with us all the time either in the truck with the air conditioner on while building the trailer, in the side-by-side or chasing the cat with Pat.
Having the pleasure of owning, training and showing some great horses and working with trainers, owners, breeders in the cutting and cowhorse industry help us guide our clients.
We decided to go mobile and down size. That meant having a home on wheels that could do everything, and we mean everything. Our 4 year adventure was more than just a little twist on building your dream home! Check out our build video.
The industry did not have what we were looking for so we broke out the welders and started building what we wanted. We purchased a one year old 4 horse that the living quarter was burned out and redesigned it. Building it to be completely off grid and self-sustainable. Knowing our build would be large we purchased a firetruck and converted into a hauler. Reach out to us if you are thinking about an endeavor into a custom build we're pretty good now at knowing what works and doesn't.

Family business in 1960’s consisted of show horses, cutting horses and cattle along with a Western Store. In the early 70’s we were one of the first to import Maine-Anjou Cattle and Blonde d’Aquitaine Cattle frozen semen so breeding knowledge started very early. My Dad was deep into the cutting horse industry using horses on our many sections of ranch as a necessity. The show horses were also a part of our ranching. He bred and raised our ApHC Stud Prince Louie standing him for years. We had many cutting horses from futurity finalists to son of Docs Okie Quitoe the triple crown winners first foal crop. One of our early foundation studs was Poco Nada which was an own son of Poco Bueno, which we breed to the ranch mares.

We no longer do web design and software development but can if you need help. After 20 years behind a computer I like to stay out with the horses. This is my reason for returning back to the equine industry.
